Joshua Ayers is a licensed attorney who has been with the USDA since 2013, serving in positions involving policy analysis and development, program evaluation, and regulatory enforcement. He has worked for the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, Agricultural Marketing Service, and Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). He is currently an analyst for the FSIS Regulations Development Staff, which is responsible for the development of policy and regulatory documents regarding the safety and labeling of meat, poultry, and egg products.
