Advancing Solutions for Sustainable Seafood

GFI’s Sustainable Seafood Initiative is enabling high-impact research to address critical challenges facing the plant-based, cultivated, and fermentation-derived seafood sectors. This presentation will:

  • Give a brief overview of GFI’s Advancing Solutions for Alternative Proteins (ASAP) project, which aims to catalogue the most urgent white spaces in the alternative protein industry
  • Highlight several key white spaces with particular relevance to cultivated seafood and some current projects by GFI and others aimed at addressing these challenges
